A Canadian line is a type of bet used in hockey betting. It combines moneyline and spread betting markets.
This type of bet creates a more enticing market than simply betting on the outright winner of the hockey game.
For example, let’s say that you want to bet on the Canucks (-1.5) against the Canadiens (+1.5). For you to win this bet, the Canucks must win by at least two goals for your bet to win.
On the other hand, if you bet on the Canadiens, they can win or lose by no more than one goal for you to win the bet.
