Draw Meaning – When Your Points Spread Bet Ends in a Tie

Last Updated: May 31, 2022
A draw, also known as push, is a tie result between the bettor and the sportsbook. When there’s a draw, the sportsbook refunds the bet to the bettor and doesn’t charge any juice or vig. Draw results are common in point spread and over/under betting.
For example, if you bet on the New York Knicks to win with a +5 point spread and the game ends with the Knicks losing 110-105, the result is a draw, as the spread adds exactly the same number of points to make the game a tie.
